Pure France

un site de location qui privilégie le locataire au détriment du propriétaire. tout un chacun est libre de ses choix et de sa stratégie. Ce que je constate au fil des années, c'est que le choix de propriétés se réduit et qu'il y a de moins en moins de belles propriétés. et en tant que propriétaire d'une belle propriété, il ne serait pas raisonnable de leur confier un mandat.

We visited a Pure France property in July. I think it's important that people booking understand that you are basically booking an Air B&B.

Pure France were initially great (although they sold us a villa which was meant to be walking distance to restaurants and it wasn't). Once the booking was confirmed everything was done via the owner. We were really disappointed to arrive at the accommodation at the agreed time to find the owner still cleaning and removing her personal belongings- it took nearly 2 hours for her to vacate, it was awkward and not the start to our holiday we expected. The property itself was nice but lacking some essential items and, we didn't expect to have dog hairs around from her dogs (given we thought we were booking a holiday house) luckily none of us have serious allergy's to dogs. Because it's their home, they leave their chickens on site, this meant we saw rats around the pool area. The villa was very much their home with their belongings everywhere (including Halloween decorations!). We had to clear a cupboard to hang clothes up, the fridge was left full of her food and the cupboards in the kitchen were full of food items. We also couldn't use the freezer because it was full of the owners frozen food.

We were very disappointed to find that PF do not undertake site visits to check the Villas they list. Our Villa was listed as "easy walking distance to several restaurants" - the Villa was up a mountain with no possibility of walking anywhere - it cost us a 100 Euro (round trip) to go out for dinner each night - when we notified PF, they didn't seem bothered and, we didn't get an apology - we had booked the villa based on the information provided by PF and we SPECIFICALLY asked for walking distance to restaurants.

We were also really disappointed to find that the Villas ONE working smoke alarm didn't have batteries, we expected booking via an agent like PF that this would be something that they would insist on for their properties. The owner did rectify some of the issues during our stay but never quickly and, we felt like our reasonable requests were putting her out. She left the property without a kettle and with two tiny sun umbrellas (for 6 people) - it took her 4 days to turn up and provide the required items and, annoyingly they were on site the whole time locked in her basement. We raised issues with PF during our stay and we were diverted back to the Owner. No one contacted us after our stay even though we had raised issues with PF during the stay.
We wouldn't book with Pure France again.

We have regularly used Pure France for villa bookings and they have always impressed. Through covid they have been superb as have the property owners with whom they work, understanding changes needed due to travel restrictions etc.
Looking forward to both our bookings at properties arranged through PF this summer. A great experience again.

Having holidayed in France for many years, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company. Not only do they have an outstanding portfolio of beautiful properties, they were on hand to answer any queries we had whilst and since booking in an extremely quick and professional way. Due to the upheaval of Covid, we had many concerns which they helped with. We had such a great holiday! Pure France will be our first port of call when looking again next year.

We were extremely impressed with Pure France. An excellent range of properties and an efficient booking service from start to finish. I would recommend without hesitation.

I have used Pure France on three occasions. The latest being an expected trip to start this Saturday 22 August 2020. However Covid-19 has put a stop to that with travel restrictions.
Pure France and the Villa owner have shown just what customer service is. Heartfelt thanks to both of you in turning a really disappointing time (not your fault) into something more palatable.
Will certainly recommend you and will be using you again in the future.

Although we had to eventiually cancel our booking (having postponed it for a year first) all due to Covid, Pure France have been extremely helpful even arranging for the deposit to be repaid. Would definitely recommend for their professionalism and quick response to all communication.
