My wife and I had a full day tour with Florin last week. We toured the American landing beaches and cemetery and along the way saw many other interesting places. Florin personalizes the experience, is extremely knowledgable and recounts stories about specific soldiers and events with passion. The tour was very professionally run from start to finish. He chauffeurs you in a very nice vehicle with good visibility to see the countryside as you're going to the various destinations. We would highly recommend Spearhead Tours and Florin if you're looking for a Normandy tour.

Florin was an engaging and incredibly knowledgeable guide. He made the history of the invasion come alive, not just statistics and geography. In fact, he interspersed stories of individuals with their photos. Others tourists eavesdropped along the way and he even helped out other guides. We cannot recommend spending a day with Florin to enhance your visit to Normandy!

This was my family’s first visit to France; we were impressed with Florin’s knowledge of the area. My husband, myself and our two children; 12 and 15 thoroughly enjoyed our D-Day tour as well as Mont St Michel. Florin is good humored and really made us all feel very comfortable. Next time you’re in the area, I highly recommend Spearhead Tours for your France adventure. I’d give 10 stars if it were an option.

Florin was amazing! We decided the last night we wanted to make a day trip to Normandy and Florin responded immediately he was available. His knowledge was beyond anything we expected and were blown away by how well he articulated the history. Thank you Florin!

As children of WWII veterans we were moved by the sights but not the guide who was at best perfunctory. His level of engagement was flacid (maybe a cultural thing since he is not French) but we expected more energy and interest. He's probably ok for a bus group but not for a personalized tour requiring a higher level of client service.
