I purchased a few items of jewellery while in Paris last year - a few pieces for myself and a couple of gifts for friends in Australia. I found the service to be just the way I prefer it - friendly, polite and helpful, without being pushy or 'in your face'. The jewellery is interesting and each piece unique in its own little way. I still love wearing the pieces I have - and often receive compliments.

I don't normally write reviews about jewelry shopping, but we had the worst experience with this boutique that we have to warn other people.

First of all, a good friend bought a necklace, cost was about 78 Euros, reasonable. No doubt the necklaces are beautiful. She didn't even wear it 2-hours and the clasp broke while eating lunch and we had to immediately return it. This is the where the problem began. Had the sales clerk been nicer we probably would've been able to resolve this issues, but she was a b*tch. I told her in French her necklace broke, and she sarcastically told me I understand English. Fine, I told her it in English and my friend explain situation. She expects when she buys something it should last more than a couple of hours. So, the clerk all the sudden doesn't speak English, so I explained in French that she was leaving the next day. The clerk had the gull to tell my friend to go get it fixed about 15-minutes away and said you're on vacation anyway. First of all, it's none of her business what she's doing in Paris. Secondly, why should she inconvenience herself. She refused to refund the money, cause she claims it's not done here in France, which is a load of crap. We called the credit card company and now that transaction is in dispute and will probably be charged-back.

Lesson learned, use American credit cards for dispute purposes!
